This is an exciting new post created to offer clinical leadership and expertise to 3 community CAMHS teams in Bury, Oldham and Rochdale. The post involves offering expertise in working with children and young people presenting to CAMHS with a moderate to severe mental health need and other complexity around neurodiversity and or a Learning disability .
To provide guidance and support to clinical staff in the management of complex cases.oTo provide guidance and support on relevant legislation.oTo be responsible for the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways between CAMHS and other services.oTo provide additional leadership and guidance to other team members in risk assessment, risk management and positive problem solving and lead on debriefs following incidents.oDevelop confidence and competence within the team for managing complex clinical cases and issues.oTo take a lead role in the provision of clinical leadership and structured clinical supervision to the team.oTo lead on and ensure that the team undertakes appropriate and in-depth assessments and on-going intervention, and undertake the duties and responsibilities of an active lead case manager role
