Job summary

Harbour Healthcare Limited in Plymouth is seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN) to join a dedicated care team. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in a similar setting and an active NMC registration.

You will lead clinical care, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality resident care in line with NMC guidelines. The position offers a competitive hourly rate (£24) for 37.5 hours per week, with every other weekend included, flexible benefits, and opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• NMC registration is required.
• Ability to lead and train junior staff.
• Experience in care planning and medicines administration.

Responsibilities

• Assess all aspects of clients care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.
• Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all other clients.
• Ensure client care plans are completed and maintained with clients, relatives and other health care professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policy.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document per policy and NMC guidelines.
• Supervise and instruct junior and new staff in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate.
• Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.
• Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team; provide administrative support when required.

Your Main responsibilities for being a Nurse are:

• Assess all aspects of client's care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.
• Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other Clients.
• Ensure that Client care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with Clients, Relatives and other Health Care Professionals, and in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company's procedure and NMC guidelines.
• Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Clients personal and financial affairs and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship which exists clients.
• Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate.
• Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.
• Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and with the multidisciplinary team. Provide administrative support when required.
