Job summary

Kara Healthcare is recruiting a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN to join as Clinical Lead in a care home setting in the United Kingdom. The role is a 44-hour per week schedule, with three supernumerary days and two shift days on the floor to drive clinical governance and safe practice.

You will lead medication governance, wound care, and clinical audits, supervise staff, and champion mentoring and development, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse with active PIN.
• Experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role in a care home.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Local Authority compliance frameworks.

About the Role

This is a 44-hour per week role comprising 3 days supernumerary in a Clinical Lead capacity and 2 days working on shift as a Registered Nurse. The Clinical Lead will play a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence, ensuring safe practice, and maintaining regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the Home Manager to support strong clinical governance, quality assurance, and team development aligned with CQC and Local Authority standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee medication management systems, ensuring safe and compliant practice

Pay range and compensation package

• 44 hours per week (3 supernumerary / 2 clinical shifts)
• Competitive salary dependent on experience
