Job summary

Kara Healthcare is recruiting a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN to join as Clinical Lead in a care home setting in the United Kingdom. The role is a 44-hour per week schedule, with three supernumerary days and two shift days on the floor to drive clinical governance and safe practice.

You will lead medication governance, wound care, and clinical audits, supervise staff, and champion mentoring and development, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse with active PIN.
• Experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role in a care home.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Local Authority compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead medication management systems, ensuring safe practice.
• Drive wound management and clinical documentation standards.
• Oversee Accident & Incident reporting, investigations and learning outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with CQC and Local Authority regulations.
• Provide clinical supervision and staff development.
• Mentor, coach and develop nursing and care staff.
• Promote accountability, governance and continuous improvement.
• Support audits, inspections and quality improvement actions.
• Act as a positive clinical role model during shifts.
