Job summary

Henry Schein Dental Recruitment seeks a Clinical Lead focusing on clinician performance across a multi-site London practice group. You will own clinician performance, conduct KPI analysis, clinical audits and 1:1 coaching to unlock potential while upholding governance and patient care standards.

You will guide monthly reviews, develop measurable improvement plans, and work with managers to improve diary efficiency and patient journeys across sites.

Qualifications

• Experienced dentist with strong clinical foundations.
• Proven ability to improve clinician performance.
• Clinical Lead experience or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of private dentistry, patient journey and conversion.

Responsibilities

• Analyse clinician performance data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Lead structured monthly performance reviews with clinicians and create improvement plans.
• Provide hands-on support in treatment planning, case selection and patient communication.
• Support clinicians in increasing rebooking consistency and developing into clinical leaders.
• Improve chair utilisation, diary efficiency and alignment of clinician output with business performance.
• Produce clear performance reports and translate data into actionable insights.

Clinical Lead – Performance Management

Location: London / Multi-site

Type: Part-time self-employed(flexible for the right candidate)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Clinical Lead focused on clinician performance—a unique opportunity to shape how clinicians develop, perform, and succeed within a progressive dental group.

The Role

This is not a traditional Clinical Lead position.

You will take ownership of clinician performance across the group, using a combination of:

• KPI analysis


• Clinical audit


• 1:1 coaching and mentoring

Your focus will be on helping clinicians unlock their full potential—clinically, commercially, and professionally—while ensuring the highest standards of governance and patient care.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Driving Clinician Performance

• Analyse clinician performance data including:


• Identify performance gaps and opportunities


• Lead structured monthly performance reviews with clinicians


• Create clear, measurable improvement plans

Coaching & Mentoring Clinicians

Performance & Practice Alignment

  • Support turnaround of underperforming clinics

What We’re Looking For:

Essential

• Experienced dentist with strong clinical foundations


• Proven ability to improve clinician performance


• Clinical Lead experience
