Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Development Lead to oversee education and training across our Community Nursing Services in West Berkshire. The role focuses on developing staff competencies and supporting clinical leadership within a high-quality care framework.

You will design and deliver training programmes, work with mentors to advance clinical skills, and help shape robust career pathways to improve recruitment, retention and staff wellbeing in a leading NHS

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Development Lead will deliver the fundamental elements of education and training to staff working across the Community Nursing Services
• The Clinical Development Lead will also support the Service Manager in the development of robust career pathways to support recruitment, retention and staff satisfaction
• Work clinically with clinicians and their mentors to facilitate development of clinical skills, theoretical knowledge and conceptual understanding of clinical practice. In partnership with senior clinical staff ensure that undergraduate students are exposed to and are taught evidence-based interventions to the required national standards.
• Design and deliver training and development programmes on a range of topics.

As a Clinical Lead you will work closely with the Service Manager and Leadership Team to identify key learning needs and to deliver training packages to ensure that all staff are fully competent and confident in undertaking both existing and new skills.,
