Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated laboratory professional to perform a wide range of tasks across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology sections. The role emphasizes accuracy, quality, and teamwork within a busy clinical lab environment.

Responsibilities include performing type and screens, cross matches, antibody panels, and coordinating with physicians. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires ASCP certification or eligibility.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Biological Science.
• ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation or letter of Technologist eligibility from ASCP required.
• 0-1 year(s) of work-related experience.

Mansioni

• Perform Blood Bank procedures for safe issuing of blood.
• Handle type and screens, cross matches, antibody panels, DAT.
• Operate LIS blood bank module and manage components.
• Perform automated and manual Chemistry procedures and blood gas testing.
• Perform Hematology tests, CBC with differential, coagulation studies.
• Conduct Microbiology testing including PCR, culture reading, susceptibility.
• Maintain organization and clear communication with staff.
• Ensure ongoing quality control and staff education support.
