Job Details

Position: Clinical Head of Healthcare

Location: Surrey - Multi-site - Hybrid working (Staines, Guildford, and Salfords)

Reports To: 2 x Clinical Leads

Hours: Predominately Monday to Friday, flexible (24/7 service)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to Forensic Practitioners and Healthcare Professionals.
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and meet KPIs.
  • Manage client relationships and service improvements.
  • Oversee staffing, skill mix, and compliance.
  • Mentor staff and promote professional development.
  • Coordinate healthcare pathways within the criminal justice process.
  • Maintain strong onsite presence and communication with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets and ensure evidence-based care.
  • Respond to capacity and patient needs with professional judgment.
  • Ensure staff compliance with MAST requirements and share best practices.
  • Advise police, HCPs, and Forensic Practitioners, considering psychological/emotional needs.
  • Oversee team management and effective rostering.

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years post-registration experience as a Nurse or Paramedic
  • Proven leadership and management across multiple sites
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience managing clinical services
  • Strong relationship management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Experience in secure or police custody healthcare environments
