Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital is seeking a part-time Clinical Governance Lead to provide strong clinical leadership and governance oversight for quality of care. You will work with senior clinical leaders and stakeholders to drive excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across the hospital.

The role requires registration as a clinician (NMC/HCPC/GPC) and a clinical degree, with additional qualifications in governance (e.g., ISO9001 Auditor).

Qualifications

• RegisteredClinician (NMC, HCPC or GPC)
• Degree/postgraduate level in a clinical discipline
• ISO9001 Auditor or equivalent qualifications
• Senior leadership experience in healthcare
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Champion the organisation’s brand values.
• Drive continuous improvement of data quality and analysis capabilities.
• Oversee reporting and escalation to Board and learning from incidents.
• Lead delivery of Quality Assurance and improvement activities.
• Oversee Clinical Policies and SOPs and governance processes.
• Provide governance guidance to leadership and handle complaints.
• Support accreditation and certification processes (e.g., ISO9001).
• Contribute to Quality Improvement Plan and strategic projects.
