A leading healthcare provider is offering a 12-month fixed-term trainee position in Diabetes & Endocrinology at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The post is a 12-month fixed-term position (August 2025 to July 2026) based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. It is suitable for trainees who have completed foundation training or equivalent and are considering careers in Diabetes & Endocrinology or General Internal Medicine. The role offers comprehensive Diabetes experience, including inpatient and outpatient care, and opportunities for research or audit.
The successful candidate will work on Diabetes wards for four-month periods, participating in ward rounds and routine patient care. Opportunities include attending outpatient clinics, reviewing inpatients referred to the Diabetes team, and assisting with teaching undergraduates and specialist nurses. The post involves participation in the Medical mid-tier daytime and on-call rota (50% banding).
