Southend University Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an Clinical Evidence Specialist within the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust framework. The role involves cross-site responsibilities, working from the Southend Healthcare Library, and occasional home-based work depending on service needs.

Travel to Provide CIC locations may be required to promote library resources and deliver tailored information skills training.

Qualifications

• Qualified librarian or information specialist with NHS library experience.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice and clinical governance.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-based information at the point of need.
• Deliver structured library skills sessions (presentations, coaching, workshops, or virtual).
• Develop and deliver marketing and promotional initiatives to raise library visibility.
• Collaborate with MSE/regional training librarians to enhance the training program.
• Travel to Mid and South Essex Healthcare Library sites as required.
