Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust seeks a Specialty Medical Education and Knowledge Services Manager to lead the specialty medical education and Knowledge and Library Services across ESHT. The postholder will ensure delivery of services supporting resident doctors, educators, and clinical teams, with access to evidence resources.

You will translate requirements into robust site-level systems, coordinate responses, and provide assurance to the Assistant Director HR - Education, while maintaining

Responsibilities

Lead, organise and continuously improve the day-to-day delivery of specialty medical education and Knowledge and Library Services within the designated portfolio.
Translate agreed strategy, standards and priorities into clear annual objectives, operating procedures, team workplans and measurable service outcomes.
Ensure visible and responsive site-based leadership, maintaining effective services across Trust locations and during periods of operational pressure.
Manage competing priorities, resolve complex operational issues and escalates material risks or barriers promptly to the Assistant Director HR - Education.
Ensure facilities, learning spaces, digital systems and resources within the portfolio are used effectively and support an inclusive learning environment.
