Clinical Educator — Aged Care Learning & Development

Job summary

Eldercare is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to join the Learning & Development team. The role combines clinical knowledge with instructional design to build capability across Eldercare’s Clinical and Care workforce.

You will support onboarding and annual training, deliver site-based toolbox education, and apply adult learning principles to create practical learning experiences that staff can confidently apply in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated Learning & Development experience.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards one).
• Experience designing, developing, facilitating and evaluating learning programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Experience developing learning resources and competency-based assessments.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Clinical experience in aged care.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Proactive, collaborative and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver contemporary learning solutions for Eldercare’s workforce.
• Facilitate face-to-face learning and deliver toolbox education.
• Develop workplace learning resources and competency-based assessments.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness to inform continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical educators and site teams to translate knowledge into practice.
