Job summary

Silkwood Rose Care Home is seeking an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our leadership team. You will work closely with the Home Manager to provide clinical leadership across the home and ensure outstanding, person-centred care for residents.

The role is full time (40 hours/week) with a competitive pay up to £25.00 per hour. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with leadership experience and a passion for developing a supportive, high-standard care environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
• Substantial post-registration experience in adult/elderly care.
• Leadership/management experience in a care home or healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, medication management and CQC standards.
• Confident in leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager with daily leadership and management of the home.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure high standards of nursing care.
• Oversee resident assessments and care plan development/review.
• Lead on medication management, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor Nurses and care staff and support recruitment and staff development.
• Conduct supervisions and support appraisals.
