Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day care of residents, delegating roles to nursing and care staff as appropriate.
  • To provide clinical supervision to the Registered Nurses, ensuring they obtain and sustain the necessary clinical competencies.
  • To act as a Shift Team Leader, providing supervision and development for care staff.
  • To contribute to training care staff and act as a role model.
  • To participate in personal and professional development, attending mandatory training.
  • Ensure the Gold Care standards are effectively operated to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Monitor, audit, and review the service, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Demonstrate high professional standards and leadership, maintaining relevant memberships.
  • Assist with supervision and appraisal of staff, ensuring high standards.
  • Implement and adhere to policies, procedures, legal requirements, and codes of practice.
  • Assist with recruitment, performance management, and staff deployment.
  • Oversee maintenance contractors and property upkeep.
  • Promote the service through effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain private bed occupancy and support marketing efforts.
  • Ensure staff focus on excellent customer care to enhance residents' lives and uphold the company's reputation.
  • Perform other duties as required by the business.

Tasks may vary depending on business needs; flexibility and enthusiasm are appreciated.
