Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager at Hog's Back, Puttenham, Guildford. You will lead nursing care, support day-to-day operations, and ensure high-quality care for residents. The role requires a registered nurse with an NMC pin and leadership experience.

You will develop care plans, monitor medication records, and manage staff rotas to maintain excellent service. Flexible engagement with occasional nights or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct.
  • Active knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on resident independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Create and update individual care plans and maintain accurate medication records.
  • Manage staffing rotas to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
  • Provide day-to-day clinical support to the team and promote resident choice and dignity.
  • Build relationships with residents, families and local partners to raise the home’s profile.
