Salary up to £54,080 per annum – depending on experience. Permanent – 40 hours per week. Welcome bonus £2,000.

Job Description

Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
• Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate medication records.
• Maintain correct staffing levels through efficient rota management and ensure adequate staffing at all times.
• Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
• Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
• Develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile.

Key Skills / Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and a commitment to NMC codes and professional development.
• Understanding of how nursing care can improve residents’ lives, and ability to champion independence, choice and dignity.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
• Effective communicator capable of building honest relationships with residents and families.
