Bupa Health Services seeks a Clinical Counselling Psychologist for Mindplace Peterborough. The role involves delivering education on healthy living and providing therapy across multiple delivery modes. You will support customers with high-quality care, assessments, and collaborative care planning.

Qualifications

• Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
• Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
• General adult mental health experience.
• At least 1 year's post‑qualification clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence-based intervention.
• Offer models of service delivery: face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.
• Adhere to Bupa case management processes and collaborate with clinical leads and the therapy team.
• Work within sessional limits based on the client's Private Medical Insurance allowance.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations and trainings.
• Collaborate with the team to improve client and employee experiences.

This clinic operates 7 days a week, with planned opening hours of 8am-10pm.

As part of the rota, you will be required to complete one morning shift and one evening shift each week.

Your Role:

As a Clinical Counselling Psychologist within Bupa Health Services, you'll use your training and education to support our customers by providing education on how to live longer, healthier, happier lives. You'll spend the majority of your time with our customers, doing what you do best.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.

• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence‑based intervention.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

Essential:

• Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.

• Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.

• General adult mental health experience.

• At least 1 year's post‑qualification clinical experience.

Desirable:

• Training and accreditation in specialised areas of psychological relevance.

• Corporate experience.

• Excellent leadership and management skills.
