Clinical Counselling Psychologist

We are recruiting for multiple sites nationwide:

  • Reading, RG1 5AS
  • Chester, CH4 9FB

Session Requirements:

The service is open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm. Sessions are scheduled from 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, and 4pm-8pm. A minimum of 4 sessions per week is required.

Your Role:

Support our customers by providing education on healthy living, primarily working with patients in a face-to-face setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based interventions.
  • Deliver services via face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.
  • Follow Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with clinical teams.
  • Work within sessional limits based on insurance allowances.
  • Provide signposting or referrals as needed.
  • Offer wellbeing support and coaching as required.
  • Conduct assessments and make referral recommendations.
  • Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness presentations.
  • Work independently within professional and company guidelines.
  • Attend supervision and team meetings regularly.
  • Collaborate to enhance client and employee experiences.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • HCPC registration as a Chartered Psychologist.
  • Experience in adult mental health.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Specialized training and accreditation.
  • Leadership and management skills.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in adult mental health and corporate settings.
  • Up-to-date CPD.
  • Proficient in IT and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
  • Experience managing caseloads and working towards targets.
