Job Overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the OASIS team in Lambeth. OASIS focuses on young people at risk of developing psychosis within the Early Intervention for Psychosis services. This role is ideal for those wishing to enhance their skills in working with unusual experiences, supervision, leadership, and service development.

The service promotes accessibility and equity of care, raising awareness about psychosis risk and normalising discussions around unusual experiences. The post-holder will engage in co-produced, community-focused work.

Clinical work involves varied presentations, offering significant opportunities for developing assessment and formulation skills, with support for relevant training.

Main Duties
  1. Deliver individual and family interventions for at-risk mental state, primarily using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp).
  2. Conduct assessments of referred clients using CAARMS (post-training).
  3. Support multidisciplinary team (MDT) staff with psychological formulation and low-intensity interventions.
  4. Supervise trainees and students.
  5. Participate in outreach and service promotion activities, including online platforms like websites and Instagram.
