A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join their team at Potters Bar Clinic. The role involves providing psychological assessments and interventions for service users with acute mental health needs. Candidates should have a BPS-recognized psychology degree and HCPC registration, with experience in psychiatric settings preferred. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary psychological therapies team which covers both male and female adult acute inpatient wards at Potters Bar Clinic. The Psychologist will provide a clinical service of specialist psychology assessments and interventions to service users with acute mental health needs on the ward, as well as provide a specialist clinical perspective in relation to other service users.
Potters Bar Clinic uses a formulation driven and trauma informed model of care.
Location: 190 Barnet Road, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 2SE. Potters Bar Clinic provides care for young people and adults with acute mental health needs in an established 24-hour care environment. The CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services are for young people aged 13–18. Potters Bar Clinic is located in a residential area, near transport links for easy commute.
