Job summary

Practice Plus Group’s Health in Justice team is seeking a Clinical Associate Psychologist to join the HMP Doncaster site. The role involves psychological assessments and low to medium intensity interventions within a secure, challenging environment.

The post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £43,609–£49,175 depending on experience, and structured induction plus ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Clinical Associate in Psychology – Level 7 Apprenticeship or MSc required.
• Bachelor degree in Psychology with GBC or MSc in Forensic/Health.
• Foundation training in evidence-based frameworks (CFT, CBT, DBT, ACT).
• Experience in forensic or secure settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients who may benefit from psychological interventions following triage and MDT input.
• Provide comprehensive psychological assessment including risk assessment and formulate plans.
• Identify and deliver individual and group interventions per PTTS pathways.
• Monitor and evaluate interventions using PTTS guidelines.
