Job description
Overview

This varied role will involve undertaking a range of clinical activities including psychological assessments, treatments and other types of clinical intervention with individual service users, carers, families, groups etc; along with other activities such as staff training; research and development activity, and in particular, support the running of the Personality Disorder pathway.

The postholder will need to undertake and meet the requirements of an apprenticeship, leading to the award of a Masters Clinical Associate in Psychology. We also invite enquiries from qualified CAPs, who have completed their training, to be considered for an 0.80 B6 vacancy.

Responsibilities
  • Offer assessment and psychological interventions, in particular Structural clinical management (SCM) and Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT) informed treatment to clients on the Personality Disorder pathway as well as clients within the wider Psychology service.
  • Involvement in multi-disciplinary (MDT) and the Psychology service to promote excellent and evidenced based care to clients who struggle with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
