Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Assessment Specialist for Gloucester. This hybrid role combines home and office based work on a Monday to Friday schedule, with a 9:00am–5:00pm day pattern.

You will review claimant evidence, conduct structured assessments, and produce high-quality reports for the Department for Work and Pensions. The salary ranges from £40,000 to £42,000 with up to £4,000 year-one performance-based increase.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year post registration experience in an adult setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge of long-term conditions and functional assessment.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Confident with IT and typing.
• Full right to work in UK (sponsorship is NOT available).
• NMC/HCPC registered

Responsibilities

• Review all media and supporting evidence of the claimant
• Conduct structured assessments based on this evidence either face-to-face, telephone or video
• Explore their typical day and real-world impact
• Assess reliability
• Explore variability (good/bad days, flare-ups, fatigue patterns)
• Record findings clearly and neutrally
• Produce high-quality, justified reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
• Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards

Salary: £40,000-£42,000

(Up to £4,000 salary increase in the first year based on performance)
