Job summary

The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an Apprentice Healthcare Support Worker on a 12-month apprenticeship across its sites. The role focuses on personal care, nutrition and hydration, patient observations, infection control and safeguarding, with a full rotation of long days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Successful applicants will gain the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Health and eligibility for Healthcare Assistant posts.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 3-9 (A-D) or equivalent, such as Functional Skills Level 1.
