Job summary

You’ll join Heidi and work as a Clinical AI Engineer in Clinical AI R&D, owning the evidence for the product from evaluation design to post-market surveillance. You’ll define evaluation endpoints, build scalable LLM judges, and publish results while ensuring clinical nuance remains central throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a medical degree with independent clinical judgment, plus experience in evaluating medical software and engineering in production codebases.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with independent clinical judgment.
• Academic depth in study design and statistics.
• Experience evaluating medical software or clinical AI.
• Ability to read production code in Python or TypeScript.
• Independent project work and proactive communication.
• Clear written evaluation reports and manuscripts.

Responsibilities

• Design the evaluation for greenfield products to academic standards.
• Build, optimize and validate the LLM judges and rubrics at scale.
• Run the evaluation, perform statistics, and write it up for stakeholders.
• Monitor post-market performance and respond to regulatory feedback with data.
• Prompt and rubric changes and code updates in the pod.
• Publish findings to peer‑reviewed literature.
• Be the clinician in the room to catch clinically nuanced issues.
