Job description

Job Title: Clinical Administrator - Colorectal Surgery

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Administrator to join the Colorectal Surgery department (clinical board 6). The successful candidate will support a team of medical secretaries, assisting consultants and the wider clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Edit and update clinic letters.
  2. Ensure investigations are current.
  3. Book and schedule patients for surgery.
  4. Communicate with patients, relatives, and medical personnel via telephone.
  5. Perform various office duties in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The department handles over 6,500 patient contacts daily across multiple sites, delivering high-quality healthcare and pioneering clinical practices supported by advanced diagnostic services.

  • Working hours: 37 hours 30 minutes/week

Additional Duties:
