University of Exeter is looking for a Climbing Arborist to join our dedicated grounds team. This full-time, permanent role starts immediately and involves seasonal tree stock work across the university campuses, with a focus on iconic specimens and future tree establishment.

You will work within a safety-focused culture, helping maintain high arboricultural standards and supporting ongoing development within the grounds department.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Arborist or working in arboriculture to high standards.
• Comfortable with planning future grounds and tree management.
• Commitment to safety culture and best practice in arboriculture.

Responsibilities

• Perform seasonal work across the campus tree stock.
• Care for iconic specimens and champion trees on Streatham and St Luke's campuses.
• Assist in planning and establishing young trees for future growth.
