Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of the company’s climate change strategy, resilience planning and natural capital initiatives, embedded across the business.

You will influence decision making, build internal and external partnerships and translate complex environmental data into clear business insights, enabling long-term value for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Strong strategic and analytical abilities to translate complex information into clear insights.
• Experience developing and delivering climate change or sustainability strategies within large organisations.
• Knowledge of UK environmental policy, regulation and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Climate Change Strategy and its execution, risk management and embedding across the organisation.
• Drive the Natural Capital work and integrate it into decision-making frameworks.
• Build internal and external partnerships to deliver commitments and communicate progress.
• Monitor policy developments to inform long-term planning and prioritisation.
• Maintain core sustainability policies and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.
