Job summary

Thames Water seeks a Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy Manager to lead climate strategy, resilience, and natural capital initiatives. Base location is Reading with hybrid working and 36-hour weeks, shaping policy, reporting, and investment decisions across the organisation.

You will engage stakeholders, translate complex climate data into actionable business insights, and embed sustainability frameworks aligned with regulatory expectations and company priorities.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage Thames Water's climate change strategy and risk management.
• Drive the natural capital approach and embed it into decision-making frameworks.
• Build internal and external partnerships to deliver commitments.
• Scan policy landscape to inform long-term planning.
• Maintain and evolve core sustainability policies and frameworks.
• Support disclosures and sustainability reporting materials.
• Influence investment and business planning to reflect climate and sustainability considerations.
• Champion sustainability themes and develop case studies.
