Job summary

UNDO is seeking a hands-on Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing, brand and PR activity. From email campaigns, social content and website updates, to reporting, you’ll gain exposure across the full marketing mix and grow into ownership of key areas.

Initially a 12-month contract to cover parental leave, the role offers hybrid working with both remote and office options, plus the potential to convert to a permanent post.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven professional experience, ideally within a startup or fast-growing organisation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Highly organised, resilient and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to seek information, inspiration and projects as needed.
• Genuine passion for climate tech, sustainability and science-driven innovation.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and schedule email campaigns and social posts from briefs, in line with marketing calendar.
• Make basic website and CMS updates (copy changes, image swaps, new pages from templates).
• Support content creation and repurposing, including social posts, blog content and simple visual assets.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages across UNDO’s social channels, escalating sensitive issues.
• Compile regular reports on email, social media, website and campaign performance using platforms like HubSpot, Meta and Google Analytics.
• Handle general marketing administration: briefing documents, asset organisation, supplier/contractor coordination, invoice/PO support.
• Research content ideas and support briefs for blogs, social and campaigns.
