Job summary

Loughborough University is seeking a grants/finance administrator to support financial aspects of externally funded projects within the CCG team. The role involves procurement, invoicing, travel planning, budget monitoring and forecasting, plus finance reporting and claims.

The post requires experience with Agresso or similar systems, strong Excel knowledge and excellent communication with stakeholders, in a hybrid on-campus/remote setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial role within the higher education sector or similar.
• Experience with preparation of periodic grant claims and finance reporting.
• Proficiency in using corporate financial management software (Agresso or similar), and knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for financial aspects of grants, including procurement and processing invoices.
• Handle expense claims, arrange travel, monitor budgets, and produce spend forecasts.
• Prepare periodic finance reports and financial claims for grants and projects.
• Collaborate with Grants Manager, Programme Manager and external partners.
