  • Generate quantitative insights to inform management decisions aligned with HSBC’s net zero goals
  • Monitor emerging industry guidance and policy expectations on financed emissions alignment and measurement, including PCAF and IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards
  • Interpret climate, portfolio, counterparty, industry and peer data to produce insights, recommendations and clear narrative
  • Support preparation of financed emissions disclosures, including methodology documentation for internal and external publication
  • Enhance processes and governance requirements to strengthen methodology implementation and controls

  • Produce clear written documentation and methodology materials suitable for governance and disclosure
  • Apply an understanding of the Bank’s Risk Management Framework in day-to-day work
  • Support robust controls and assurance activity across 1LOD controls, 2LOD assurance and external assurance, with evidence and traceability
  • Demonstrate substantial experience across finance or strategy or sustainability in a complex environment
  • Influence and engage a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver insights in a highly visible area of the Group’s climate agenda
  • Manage competing and dynamic priorities while maintaining delivery expectations under time pressure
