Job summary

AWC STAFF SERVICES LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager (client side) to lead the mechanical and electrical management of construction schemes in Aberdeen. You will act as the client's technical representative from feasibility through handover, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with safety standards.

You will coordinate with consultants and contractors, chair progress meetings, review submissions, and monitor budgets and schedules to protect the client's interests

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading M&E projects in building services
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E aspects of client projects
• Define M&E brief, performance requirements and employer's requirements
• Review M&E designs for client standards and regulations
• Coordinate M&E with architectural, structural and operations
• Appoint and manage M&E consultants and contractors
• Review technical submissions, drawings and calculations
• Chair M&E progress meetings and ensure contractual obligations
• Develop and monitor M&E budgets and cash flows
• Monitor M&E programmes and critical paths
• Ensure site safety, quality and approved designs
• Witness factory and site acceptance tests as required
• Oversee commissioning strategies and handover to facilities
• Provide technical liaison to stakeholders and senior management
