Job summary

Joshua Robert Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Estates Manager to lead day-to-day management of a diverse commercial property portfolio in a fast-paced corporate environment, acting as deputy to the Head of Estates.

The role covers landlord and tenant negotiations, asset performance, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance and risk management across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a commercial property portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
• Experience negotiating leases and property agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a commercial focus.
• MRICS membership (or working towards) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Head of Estates, supporting strategic and operational activities.
• Manage a varied commercial property portfolio, ensuring assets are well maintained.
• Lead landlord and tenant negotiations including renewals and rent reviews.
• Instruct and manage external consultants, agents and legal advisers.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor estate budgets and service charges.
• Identify opportunities to optimise estate performance.
• Ensure statutory compliance and effective property risk management.
