Job summary

Monaghans in Manchester is seeking a proactive Client-Side Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will work directly with clients, coordinate with consultants, and drive programme delivery across Retail, Commercial, Residential and Leisure sectors.

As part of a growing consultancy, you will own projects from day one, collaborate with senior staff, and develop expertise across multiple sectors while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Consultancy-based PM experience in construction.
• Full lifecycle experience from feasibility to handover.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project planning, procurement, consultant coordination and delivery strategies.
• Lead project meetings, stakeholder workshops, and site coordination.
• Monitor programme performance, milestones and delivery objectives.
• Track costs, risks, opportunities, and commercial considerations.
• Identify challenges early and implement solutions to maintain certainty.
• Manage contract administration and governance requirements.
• Produce client reports and project documentation using best-practice frameworks.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Support delivery across multiple sectors and client groups.
• Represent Monaghans professionally and uphold client service reputation.
