Job summary

Man Group, based in London, is seeking a London-based Associate within Global Client Relations to support the Middle East Sales Team, collaborating with colleagues at our headquarters and the Abu Dhabi office.

You will act as the primary contact for client inquiries, manage CRM data, coordinate reporting, and assist with onboarding, due diligence, and client review activities across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in client service, client relations, investor relations, or investment operations within a financial services firm.
• Prior exposure to Middle Eastern clients or markets is advantageous, and Arabic language skills would be beneficial.
• Strong cultural awareness and ability to engage across diverse client profiles.
• Working towards or interested in CFA or CAIA qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated point of contact for day-to-day client inquiries.
• Maintain CRM with client records, activity, pipeline, and coordinate reporting to senior management.
• Support Middle East Sales on projects impacting existing client base and prospective pipeline.
• Assist with client onboarding for complex investor transactions.
• Coordinate portfolio reviews, due diligence, roadshows, campaigns, and conferences.
• Deliver customized reporting to the Middle East client base.
• Manage client subscription and redemption processes to ensure timely communications.
• Organize commercial agreements and maintenance (Intermediary, Rebate, Platform, Custody).
• Coordinate restriction lists, trade error notifications, and side-letter attestations with Compliance.

Job Profile Summary
A London-based Associate-role within Global Client Relations, supporting the Middle East Sales Team, working in close collaboration with colleagues across both our London headquarters and our new Abu Dhabi office.

Specific Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated point of contact for all day-to-day client inquiries
• Maintain CRM system with client records, activity and pipeline and coordinate all ad hoc requests and ongoing reporting to senior management, including annual business plans and monthly/quarterly review packs
• Support the Middle East Sales team as required on all projects impacting existing client base and prospective pipeline, whilst working with various internal stakeholders on strategic initiatives to improve the overall efficacy of the team
• Manage client onboarding process by providing support and direction for complex investor transactions
• Coordinate prospect/client portfolio reviews, operational due diligence meetings, RFP and DDQ completion, roadshows, outreach campaigns, annual conferences, client update calls and trade reconciliations
• Deliver customized, standardized and ad-hoc reporting to our Middle East client base
• Direct ongoing client subscription and redemption process ensuring flows are communicated in a timely and accurate manner

• Organize and implement new commercial agreements and the ongoing maintenance of these agreements (Intermediary, Rebate, Platform, Custody agreements, etc.)
• Coordinate client restriction list implementation, trade error notification and side letter attestation process in conjunction with Man Compliance team.

Technical Competencies

• Broad interest in active alternative asset classes, spanning systematic and discretionary strategies across public equity and fixed income (long-only and hedge funds), managed futures, and private credit
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in client service, client relations, investor relations, or investment operations within a financial services firm; prior exposure to Middle Eastern clients or markets is advantageous, and Arabic language skills, while not required, would be beneficial
• A strong cultural awareness and appreciation of Middle Eastern business customs, relationship-building etiquette and communication styles, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively across diverse client profiles
• Working towards, or a strong interest in pursuing, CFA or CAIA qualifications
• Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity to leverage emerging technologies to enhance client servicing, reporting and operational efficiency
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, prospects and colleagues at all levels across the Man organisation
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced and high-volume environment
