Job summary

Next Level is assisting a major national brand with a Birmingham-based Project Manager role, offering travel up to 3 days a week across the UK.

The successful candidate will lead around 15 refurbishment projects annually, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and programmes, and ensure design intent, health and safety compliance, and client satisfaction across UK sites.

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in Project Management or Design Management (within the built environment or interior design)
• Experience delivering hospitality, leisure, retail or commercial interior projects
• Understanding of construction processes, technical drawings and UK building regulations
• Strong stakeholder management with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple projects
• Commercial awareness with attention to detail
• Proactive, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to sites across the UK

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple refurbishment projects across the UK simultaneously

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Client Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects across a nationwide estate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex programmes, building strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard.

Description

Working as the key client-facing delivery lead, you'll coordinate around 15 projects each year, managing multiple live sites simultaneously while collaborating with designers, technical specialists, contractors and consultants.

You'll be responsible for ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept through to completion, maintaining programme momentum while balancing commercial performance with outstanding client service.

Experience

You'll be a highly organised Project Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where no two days are the same.

We're looking for someone with

• At least five years' experience in Project Management or Design Management (within the built environment or interior design)
• Experience delivering hospitality, leisure, retail or commercial interior projects
• A solid understanding of construction processes, technical drawings and UK building regulations
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work directly with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• A commercially aware approach with strong attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to sites across the UK

Remuneration

• Salary of circa £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience
• Car allowance
• Hybrid working, based from a Midlands office with regular UK travel (typically 3 days a week)
