Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Client Manager in the Bolton area. You will manage a varied SME/owner-managed client portfolio, oversee statutory and management accounts, and provide tax support. You will mentor juniors and liaise with managers and directors to drive service quality.

The role emphasizes relationship management, technical review, and opportunities to upsell services, with a salary of £45,000–£50,000 dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification completed or in progress.
• 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience preferred.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice handling SME/owner-managed clients.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of SME/owner-managed clients across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
• Act as principal day-to-day contact for client queries.
• Plan and oversee accounts and tax assignments including statutory accounts under FRS 102 1A.
• Produce and review management accounts and tax computations/returns.
• Provide basic tax planning guidance and support junior colleagues.
• Maintain deadlines and liaise with clients on draft accounts and reporting requirements.
