Job Overview:

A Hunter sales professional focuses on generating new business and acquiring clients through prospecting, identifying leads, and closing deals.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience with Databricks / Snowflake.
  • Lead our Data Cloud Business growth, scale operations, and develop end-to-end business strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Utilize Mastek’s Data Cloud offerings to acquire new clients and bring in new logos.
  • Help clients save costs with turnkey solutions and act as a trusted partner.
  • Drive large-scale legacy modernization initiatives.
  • Create and execute a Data Cloud Business Strategy to penetrate the market.
  • Identify, nurture, and develop new sales opportunities.
  • Research prospects, initiate contact via calls, emails, and meetings, and build relationships.
  • Write proposals and collaborate with management on pricing strategies.
  • Develop prospecting strategies targeting new customers and demonstrating solution value.
  • Follow up with prospects, set appointments, and deliver sales presentations.
  • Collaborate internally to develop tailored sales materials.
  • Log activities in CRM and use consultative sales strategies to overcome objections, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure client satisfaction and account delivery.
  • Develop account plans, manage relationships, identify opportunities, and oversee pricing decisions.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience, including 10+ years managing customer engagements.
  • Experience with “new age” service providers and selling Snowflake or Databricks platforms.
  • Proven sales and business development experience in similar scope.
  • Knowledge of Data Cloud industry-specific go-to-market solutions is a plus.
  • Experience interacting with CxO level clients.
  • Global delivery model experience desirable.
  • Experience managing large, multi-location consulting teams is a plus.
  • Proven track record in business/practice development in a growing client environment.
  • Hands-on proposal creation and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
