Job summary

Hello Recruitment Associates in Tring is recruiting a Client Manager/Senior Bookkeeper for a warm and friendly growing Accountancy Practice. You will manage a portfolio of clients delivering bookkeeping services to a high standard and within deadlines.

The role requires AAT level 3+ with at least 3 years bookkeeping experience in practice, solid VAT/MTD knowledge and familiarity with cloud accounting across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified to level 3 or above with a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience within a practice.
• Strong VAT and MTD knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting across multiple platforms.
• Excellent Excel skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Processing and reconciling purchase and sales ledgers.
• Preparing and posting journals.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and ensuring MTD compliance.
• Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Oversee the work of junior colleagues.
• Process a small number of payroll for clients as needed.
• Help onboard new clients.

Client Manager/Senior Bookkeeper - Accountancy Practice - Tring, Herts £30000 to £34000 depending on experience.

Hello Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Client Manager/Senior Bookkeeper for a warm and friendly growing Accountancy Practice based in Tring.

As Client Manager you will manage a portfolio of clients delivering bookkeeping services to a high standard and within deadlines.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Processing and reconciling purchase and sales ledgers
• Preparing and posting journals
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns making sure they are MTD compliant
• Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Oversee the work of junior colleagues
• Process a small number of payroll for clients as and when required
• Help onboard new clients

As you can see this is an interesting role with a wide variety of duties and the successful candidate will be AAT qualified to level 3 or above with a minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience within a practice. Strong working knowledge of VAT and MTD together with familiarity with cloud accounting across multiple platforms.

Good experience of Excel, strong organisational skills and high attention to detail will make you very attractive to this client who is offering a salary of up to £34000 for this interesting opportunity plus regular staff events and the potential for bonus
