Job summary

ICAEW, a leading UK accountancy and business advisory firm, seeks an experienced Manager to lead a client portfolio, drive assignments from planning to completion, and deliver outstanding service.

You will mentor and develop a team, support fee discussions and cash collection, and identify opportunities for additional services, working closely with senior leaders to enable growth across the firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients in accountancy practice.
• Strong UK GAAP & FRS 102 knowledge, including groups and consolidation.
• Proven track record of developing staff and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a trusted contact.
• Lead assignments from planning through to completion within budgets.
• Review and develop junior team members and support progression.
• Support fee discussions, billing and cash collection processes.
• Build stakeholder relationships and provide commercially focused advice.
