Job summary

Browns Taxation & Accountancy LLP in Essex is seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager to lead a portfolio of small to medium sized accounts clients within a general practice.

You will prepare final accounts, work with a tax partner to finalise tax elements, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prepare full accounts from all types of client records ranging from incomplete records to bespoke software trial balance/nominal ledgers.
• Excellent double entry skills
• Familiarity with the major software packages
• Confident working with, meeting and talking to clients
• Clear working paper ethics and email presentation
• Must have principally worked in an accountancy practice

Responsibilities

• Preparation of final accounts for presenting to and discussing with clients
• You will also work alongside a tax partner in finalising the tax part of the accounts before presenting them to the client
