Page Green in City of London is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for temp-to-perm refurbishment and upgrade projects across Greater London and the Home Counties. You will travel between sites, prioritise Health and Safety, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating subcontractors.

The role requires senior-level generalist skills with M&E knowledge, ability to manage 3–5 projects simultaneously, and clear communication with blue‑chip clients and tenants while buildings

Job description

This is Temp to Permanent Position. You will be travelling to different locations regularly within Greater London, and occasionally to projects in the home counties.

We are looking for an Experienced, very Health and Safety aware, well presented client-facing Contracts Manager to establish and maintain control of small to medium sized refurbishment and upgrade projects on Pharmaceutical, NHS, Warehouse and Commercial Buildings.

Our client is a very well established, niche FM provider carrying out a range of specialist general refurbishment work including Building Services M&E and broader redecoration. They have built a business which particularly focusses on higher-end blue-chip clients and and we are looking for someone with experience in a client facing position.

Typical projects are valued at between 50K to 200K and you will be overseeing 3 to 5 at the same time. You will be ensuring projects progress safely and liaise with the client. You will build relationships with appointed sub-contractors and ensure they progress work according to their remit with a particular eye on Health and Safety conformance and maintaining a positive relationship with tenants when buildings are in occupation.

This role will suit a senior level generalist with excellent M&E knowledge with a stable career who understands refurb and upgrade projects including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, decoration and fitout, who can communicate well and multi-task.

Long term contract. Potential to go Permanent in Medium to long term if desired. Some hybrid working and a high degree of autonomy. Exceptional employer.
