Job summary

CFGI in the United Kingdom seeks a motivated consultant to join a team of professionals working with Big 4 auditors and client management on engagements including operational due diligence, accounting projects, and financial reporting.

You will own projects from start to finish, interact with clients, and apply IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge to complex transactions, carve-outs, and integration tasks while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA and/or MBA combined with accounting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree in Accounting.
• Two to five years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting and/or finance.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with an ability to assimilate easily into teams.
• Strong technical skills with working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of operational due diligence for complex transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs).
• Accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries.
• Integration with client’s internal staff as a subject matter expert on accounting tasks or financial team support.
• Preparation of financial and regulatory information in line with regulatory requirements.
• Research and document projects related to new accounting standards, process improvement, and implementations.
• Process improvement projects and implementation of changes.
