Job summary

CFGI managers work closely with senior management of FTSE 100, mid-cap, and start-up companies, leading project teams and interacting with clients and Big 4 auditors on engagements, including report writing and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CA / CPA and/or MBA with accounting experience or equivalent degree.
• Five to seven years of public accounting and/or industry accounting experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Proactive in identifying client needs and building strong client relationships.
• Highly organized with the ability to set engagement expectations and direction.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, ethical and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Integrate with client's senior management to solve complex accounting issues and prepare proposed resolutions.
• Review work prepared by consultants on operational due diligence for complex transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, IPOs).
• Review consultants' deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Research and document projects related to new accounting standards, process improvements, and implementations.
• Lead and mentor consultants, providing creative solutions that enhance the consultant's overall experience.
• Participate in the firm's recruiting efforts, client relationship building, and business development efforts.
