Job summary

Abacus is seeking a technically skilled engineer to design, deploy and support client-centered IT solutions for financial services and healthcare clients. You will work on cloud migrations, server configurations, and secure networking while delivering robust, repeatable results.

Role involves occasional client visits, some international travel, and on-call shifts. A mix of remote work and office presence supports flexible arrangements and career growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills with public cloud technologies, Azure specifically.
• Familiarity with industry standard LLMs such as Claude, CoPilot and ChatGPT as both an internal research tool and as deployed with clients.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a system engineering role or 5+ years senior deskside support experience.
• Certifications preferred (AI, Azure Expert, MCSE, VCP, CCP)
• MSP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handling complex technical project tasks, project issues and initial troubleshooting for clients.
• A client facing role with occasional in person visits to client sites.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of servers and networks.
• Configuration and migration of Cloud Services.
• Management of small and medium sized projects.
• Provide technical advice on planning and scoping calls.
• Hit personal KPI targets.
• Some international travel and on-call requirement.
• Some evening shifts, Working from Home.
• Documentation of internal processes and guides
