Job summary

Qualifications

• SC clearance eligibility is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with UK healthcare organisations.
• Minimum 3 years of delivering bespoke software projects from scratch using agile methods for external customers.
• Strong experience in customer-facing projects—syncs and reporting, presentations, board meetings, workshops, upscaling opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly flexible, including willingness to work away from home base.

Responsibilities

• Establish ways of working to enable an agile team to plan, forecast and deliver against a product backlog.
• Act as a role model for collaborative behaviours, agile values and professionalism.
• Lead retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives; apply knowledge and best practices in agile delivery.
• Manage and develop staff, focusing on performance development.
• Actively manage performance with improvement plans where necessary.
• Provide data, forecasts and progress updates to inform planning.
• Facilitate workshops to capture requirements for joint understanding.
• Establish and maintain constructive relationships with client, other suppliers and third-party stakeholders.
• Ensure stakeholders have access to current data and that technical standards are followed.
• Support Delivery Manager to ensure projects deliver agreed outcomes within budget.
