Job summary

Nxtgen Recruitment is seeking an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working with people, solving problems and owning their work. You will handle a varied client base, covering accounts, management accounts, VAT, CIS and software support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts experience.
• Good knowledge of VAT and CIS.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients.
• AAT, ACA, ACCA or equivalent experience.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Work with a varied client base across accounts, management accounts, VAT, CIS and software support.
• Get to know your clients and understand what makes their businesses tick.
• Manage your own workload, review work and support more junior members of the team.
