Job summary

Bond Williams in Ferndown is seeking a Client Director to oversee a portfolio of SME and contractor clients, ensuring high-quality service and timely VAT/account submissions. The role is office-based, with leadership responsibilities including supervising junior staff and handling new client meetings.

The ideal candidate will have AAT/ACCA/ACA qualifications with at least 3 years of practice, strong tax knowledge, and excellent client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified (part or fully).
• Minimum 3 years' practice experience.
• Strong understanding of tax.
• Confident communicator with excellent client facing skills.
• Ability to manage a small team.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality service.
• Review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
• Support, supervise and train junior staff.
• Attend new client meetings and prepare quotations.
• Allocate workloads and monitor internal SLAs.
• Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and accounts.
